Black, Puerto Rican and Mexican that’s who I am. A variety of cultures gave me the oportunity to grow up listening to so many different types of music. Also, allowed me to appreciate and learn so many styles of dancing. As far as I can remember dancing just made me happy and I wanted to share that feeling with everyone I encountered in life. Studied professional dancing, contemporary, jazz, street hiphop and a small taste of ballet. Danced for a few big celebrities and toured all over the US and Internationally. AFAA Certified, Zumba Certified, Chakaboom Certified, SPIN certified, CPR Certified and owner and creator of Freestyle DF. I created Freestyle to share my joy for dancing and try to teach others a few basics on dancing that maybe they thought they could never learn, I make it simple, repetitive and easy to learn. Classes are now outdoor and free for anyone that is inspired to dance and wants to stay active. If I get to make one person smile and feel what I feel when I dance then I have accomplished my goal. I now reside in Washington DC and this is the base location for FreestyleDF. I am looking for a location to be able to bring everyone indoors and give everyone that cant afford it the gift of dance and feel free.
